Hello Marc. Well what should I do to resolve this issue, I contacted my ISP provider, and they stated there is no authentication problem at their end, and all the mail programs with in my Ubuntu are effected, as all of them receive mail, both none of them can send out mail and my mail folder has me with all granted permissions intact. K mail is the only one with different incoming /out going port settings as the other pop settings are the same for the other mail clients. Can you please put this bug report to anyone knowledgeable to handle my problem, as I am quite sure, someone else has experience the same problem. The tech support person in Linux has receive a similar problem with persons having KlamAv attahing files to emails...
