Patrick, Yes unfortunately this is not fixed in time for final Lucid release, it is even affecting officlal OOo at their website from what they have indicated. But it is marked as a showstopper bug for upstream OOo 3.2.1 so hopefully will be able to be fixed for a 3.2.1 update to Lucid in the 10.04.1 timeframe.
