I can confirm some of this. The most recent build of Feisty (March 19 fdd28c87302ae38c8a7b9799e3dc2c5f)
could not run live on my 733hz machine. It could run on 2 faster machines I have. All have the same memory. An earlier build and Edgy and Dapper live always worked. On the 733Hz it would also be about 15 minutes and then it would get an error report that it could not start the gnomes setting daemon.
