You can try my module if you wish.... The only other way would be for
you to compile your own kernel....

Download the psmouse.ko file attached, and then in a console (from the
directory containing my module) run:

$ sudo rmmode psmouse
$ sudo insmod psmouse.ko

I should warn you about the dangers of installing kernel modules
produced by people you don't know on the internet ;-)

You can trust me though :-p
