Thank you for taking the time to file this bug report. I can confirm this bug. If I copy/paste that line or any line that starts with a '-' it works fine. If I type it in manually I cannot get it to stay without showing "#NAME?". It seems when there is a dash at the beginning of a cell it expects an equation and there doesn't seem to be a way around it, it doesn't behave the same in the vanilla version of OOo (according to upstream).
