The 3rd workaround really works. I have tested the issue with youtube video controls, BBC video playing issues. Both are working now. Some of the Web Based training materials use flash to deliver distant learning. The flash content never used to work. This made me have dual boot with windows on our m/cs. Now those are working as well. The only thing holding me back from wiping out windows are: Performance of flash player (much better than karmic, but still choppy) Netflix (darn!) This coming from a user who likes to keep options open is something achieved! Way to go, ubuntu!
