That's not a bash bug, it is bug of whoever added /usr/bin/X11/ directory as link to current directory (i.e. it points to /usr/bin/ just look at the contents of /usr/bin/X11 and you'll see they are the same as /usr/bin)
$ ls -l /usr/bin/X11 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 1 2010-03-27 16:22 /usr/bin/X11 -> . I haven't tried it (and I'm not planning to, because it doesn't bother me ;), but I think it is safe to delete this directory.
