Hello there, I am using Compaq Presario V3029au. amd64 laptop with 32bit ubuntu. Also hangups on 64bit ubuntu.
uname -a: Linux killbill 2.6.17-10-generic #2 SMP Tue Dec 5 22:28:26 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux My laptop shows random hangup behaviour. It hangs both when I am connected to the wired network, or not; running on AC power or from battery, with or without the closed source nvidia, browsing firefox or not, with or without beryl.
