@Steve Langasek Maybe I wasn't clear in my description. This will also happen if you use /dev/mapper entries! The bug is in fact, if a snapshot exists, mount problems will occur (with message exactly like the problems in bug 527666, bug 561390 and bug 557909). UUID only makes this bug harder to reproduce, because bug 563117 will arise. The do-release-upgrade process to Lucid changes /dev/mapper entries to UUID.
