Well today I tried to use Ubuntu One by clicking the icon under Internet - and
it brought up the Add Computer page in Firefox. Clicking the "Add This
Computer" displayed an error message:
---
Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:45126.

    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a
few
          moments.

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make
sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

---

I tried multiple times opening and closing the browser, etc. and always
had the Unable to Connect error. I then opened a command line and
entered: u1sync --authorize

This opened the same Add Computer page in Firefox and after clicking Add
Computer, it succeeded. Going back to the other web page (brought up
previously), I tried clicking the Add Computer button on the web page
and it still brought up the Unable to Connect error. So - success from
the command line, but the page automatically displayed still has errors.
