Status in “irssi” package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
Binary package hint: irssi

I opened a terminal window, resized it, and issued irssi --connect
irc.freenode.net --nick captivus and the program crashed before
displaying any output in the terminal. I immediately reissued the
command and it worked as expected, opening irssi and connecting to
freenode as captivus.

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04. I have irssi version 0.8.12-6ubuntu1.1
installed.
