*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 559587 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/559587
I can't access the machine now and won't be able to try for a couple of days. The pushed flgrx ati driver REALLY doesn't work. After I rebooted last night, all the screen showed was multicolored vertical lines. So I'm working on another machine to meet some deadlines. Since I'm not terribly proficient in Linux, I presume I'll have to select an earlier version of the kernel (presumably karmic) to reboot when I try to fix that one. > Date: Wed, 14 Apr 2010 19:39:58 +0000 > From: jeanbaptiste.lallem...@gmail.com > To: jweave...@hotmail.com > Subject: [Bug 562203] Re: package fglrx 2:8.723.1-0ubuntu1 failed to > install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-removal script returned > error exit status 2 > > *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 559587 *** > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/559587 > > Thanks for your report. > > The video driver installation failure you're reporting here is bug > 559587 and a fix has been pushed few hours ago.
