Binary package hint: synaptic
When a password is required to perform a certain action, sometimes a dialog box
is shown (e.g. for the Software Center) and sometimes the screen fades out,
showing a different prompt to enter a password.
This gives the user a very inconsistent experience and should be fixed.
Otherwise, the user might be scared because he does not know why there are
different ways to enter his password.
