Public bug reported: On feisty with ndiswrapper 1.38, I get the error "windows driver not 32-bit" and wlan0 is not created.
I'm running feisty 2.6.20-11-generic and have been unable to get my dell 1500n wireless working with the earlier version 1.30 ndiswrapper. But, the wifi works under edgy with ndiswrapper 1.31. On feisty, the latest update to ndiswrapper 1.38 should have fixed it, but now I get a strange error about 32-bit. golfbuf :~$ modinfo ndiswrapper filename: /lib/modules/2.6.20-11-generic/kernel/ubuntu/misc/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper.ko license: GPL version: 1.38 description: NDIS wrapper driver author: ndiswrapper team <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> srcversion: BAC0B2B6ECA821BB17E1CCA depends: usbcore vermagic: 2.6.20-11-generic SMP mod_unload 586 parm: if_name:Network interface name or template (default: wlan%d) (charp) parm: proc_uid:The uid of the files created in /proc (default: 0).
