Although I did not expected that the upgrade to Ubuntu lucid (10.04 beta) would resolve the problem with the ca0110-ibg chip (no recent activity in alsa development regarding this chip so far I know), I can confirm that I do not have any sound and that same problems with the hda-intel driver and the ca0110 codec is still occurring. No change with respect to ubuntu 9.10
