Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: udev

I was a bit scared to upgrade the kernel so I left the tickbox away for
all linux-* packages. The result was two broken packages udev and acpid
1.0.6-9ubuntu4.9.04.3.

My release was a plain 9.04 Ubuntu desktop.

Obviously I need to update the kernel also. I am just too scared to do
it because when I upgraded to 9.10 recently I lost /proc/usb support and
squashfs compatibility with old archives. So I will stay with 9.04
forever.
