Fresh install of Kubuntu LucidLynx
Have gone into System Settings -> Advanced -> General Settings -> Edit Profiles
-> Performance and disabled all "when" options,
unchecked all options under Screen
applied settings
In System Settings -> General -> Desktop effects -> Screen Saver Unchecked all
Settings
System (a system 76 laptop) is plugged into AC power.
After a few minutes without keyboard / mouse activity the system goes
into sleep mode.
However, if I log out and leave the system at the KDM screen it will
never sleep - as hoped for.
Problem with this behavior:
no long running task is possible
network connectivity drops
