I've noticed , that IF the desktop couch server does not crash, it hogs
the cpu.  This is after logging in.  I have the system monitor applet on
my top panel, and its really obvious (using 'top' as well).  If I want
to do anything remotely cpu intensive, I have to kill the desktop couch
process to get any sort of performance.
