This one, I suspect, needs gxine to be rebuilt with "./configure --enable-lock-debugging && make debug"; stderr output is of interest. Also, a backtrace (when gxine is frozen) may be of further help; with gdb, run gxine with "./gxine-test --gdb"; you'll need to use "thread apply all bt" to get the backtrace.
