Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
My Asus RT2500 based PCI wlan does not work with the current Kernel
(2.6.20-11). After boot the card is assigned the name wlan0 and the
wmaster0 interface is also present. I can set encryption, essid and key
via iwconfig, but this has no effect. the scan results always turn up
empty and if i run dhclient i get the message: WMASTER0 UNKNOWN HARDWARE
TYPE 801. So it seems to me that the current driver does not support my
card properly. It worked flawlessly with the edgy kernel. I will provide
any dmesg or lspci reports upon request. thank you in advance.
