No, enable_msi=1 is not sufficient. When you say "don't split module options across lines" do you mean it should be multiple options on one line like this:
options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1 model=test I tried "options snd-hda-intel model=test" but without "enable_msi=1" and got the same result as before. That is, sound only with headphones, but plugged into the mic jack. No sound from speakers or headphone jack. I ran the alsa-info.sh script again, with this setting: options snd-hda-intel model=test ** Attachment added: "alsa-info when "options snd-hda-intel model=test"" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/43492566/alsa-info-model%3Dtest.txt -- no sound on Presario B1900 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/556663 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
