Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gatos

running 'sudo gatos-conf' on a new Karmic 9.10 i386 (via Mythbuntu) install
shows errors when closing:
{{{
m...@mythtv:~$ sudo gatos-conf
Unable to open /etc/XF86Config or /etc/X11/XF86Config/etc/X11/xorg.conf
Can't make backup file /etc/X11/XF86Config/etc/X11/xorg.conf.old
Unable to open /etc/X11/XF86Config/etc/X11/xorg.conf
}}}

{{{
m...@mythtv:~$ apt-cache policy gatos
gatos:
  Installed: 0.0.5-19
  Candidate: 0.0.5-19
  Version table:
 *** 0.0.5-19 0
        500 http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/universe Packages

}}}

What is the proper way to install, configure and run gatos on 9.10?

thanks
