sorry to hear you are having issues with your Ubuntu One install. The Ubuntu 
One Applet has been replaced by the Ubuntu One Preferences Panel. You can 
access it by the Me Menu -> Ubuntu One or System -> Preferences -> Ubuntu One. 
If you have not added your computer yet you will be prompted to do so. if you 
have you should see your computer listed under 'Devices'. There you would click 
the 'connect' button to sync your files. Please let us know if this info helps 
or you have anything new to add. After you make a comment set your bug status 
back to 'new'. That will hopefully expedite a response. The status of a bug 
report can be modified by clicking on the current status in the yellow line, 
which will reveal a sub menu. You can then set a new status in the drop down 
box.
