I have the same issue with Sony Vaio VPC EB1E1E and ATI Radeon 5470. With HDMI cable it says "No signal". Tried also with VGA cable and my monitor (Samsung T200) doesn't even recognize that the VGA input is connected (the laptop detects the monitor though).
