Thanks for testing. But is till have the problem. I haven't made any changes since the install, so i don't think that it is my computer's fault... and i have asked one of my friends, who also has Ubuntu 9.10 and Pidgin, and has same issues. And sometimes status is not even showing right (e.g. : he has a saved status set (available+custom message), and it shows Idle and no custom message, although we were talking at that time). I hope, there's hope :D
