very possibily OT:
the annoying thing with ubuntu is that as soon as you get out of the Path (not 
using network manager, using thunderbird intead of evolution, etc..) bad and 
annoying things start to happen.

if you keep your system up to date, you're sure that in grub's kernel
list the -ck line is going to end up second to the main line.

Is there any kind of gnome app that lets you chose the order of the
different flavours of installed kernels in grub's list? if not, could
someone help me thinking out the proper design for such a little and,
imo, handy app?
