I don't think so. If I only setup windows and no grub2 in mbr , everything is all right. But then I install ubuntu with grub2 in mbr ,the LED of DVD is lighting until I shut the laptop down . And whichever OS I am leaded in from grub2 , I can't find my DVD driver.
________________________________________________ I found my problem was the incorrect links on the DVD drive. After I set them correctly (I think I had wrongly set it up as Cable Select) all is good.
