Public bug reported: When a blank disc is in the cd drive when selected in nautilus the user should be presented with an option to "burn files to disk". Instead an attempy was made to mount the disk, thus mount gives error: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only, etc
Also, for some reason recently an empty floppy drive (floppy0) has appeared in the nautilus side pane so I blacklisted the floppy module to see if that made a difference. $ cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf | grep floppy #(floppy) 02/04/10 this pc doesn't have a floppy blacklist floppy ANd after updating the initramfs image i was presented with the options in nautilus that you would expect. I have no idea whast going on :) Thanks, Rhys Release: UNR 10.4, Upgraded from 9.10. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- blank disc not recognised in lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/554917 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
