sad, just sad ... when it's so obvious that this is of course a valid bug. nouveau will not be necessary for many (the majority?) of computers out there. Ubuntu now installs Thai libs and Nouveau driver libs by default and the absolute majority of people don't need them. I am starting to get a bit worried about this tendency to "just install everything" instead of packaging properly.
