Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
I had Karmic installed and the touchpad worked. I recently installed Lucid Lynx Beta1 and the touchpad quit working. It doesn't work on the live CD and when I toggle the touchpad (fn+f7) I get a notification on my screen that it is enabling or disabling the touchpad, but it doesn't make any difference. I've also rebooted into Windows and confirmed that the touchpad does work and that the button does toggle the touchpad.
