Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: touchfreeze

The purpose of touchfreeze is to stop the touchpad while typing.
AFAICT, this never happens. I set the freeze time to 2 seconds and it
only stops briefly. (Note that the "Disable touchpad while typing" is
clicked on. Turning this on or off seemingly has no effect.)
