Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-mount
Ubuntu Version: 9.10 When I insert a DATA CD into CD-ROM driver, the CD/DVD Driver icon in "Computer-File Browser" disappears. The data CD is not mounted and no CD icon appears in the Place menu or File Browser. However I can manually mount the CD using command: sudo mount -t iso9660 /dev/hcd0 /media/cdrom0 The related item in my /etc/fstab file is: /dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8 0 0 This problem only occurs when I insert a DATA CD. For Audio CD it is mounted successfully and file manager promote me to use a music player to play the CD. Music player can play the CD. However I choose "Open Folder", an error message would appear: "Could not display "cdda://sr0/".: Error: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error. ServiceUnknown: The name :1.293 was not provided by any .service files. Please select another viewer and try again." ** Affects: gnome-mount (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cannot mount DATA CD automatically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/553107 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
