I used to test Lucid since Aplha3 with "nomodeset", and now since the last update yesterday (31-03-2010), I'm not that able to have the desktop working. Yet with or without "nomodeset" the desktop keeps freezing every time I boot. on the update list, there were xserver-ati-radeon and other xserver-ati ... I think this bug is related with Xserver. Now I'm on Karmic. I'll download the today's daily build and make a fresh install of this Lucid Beta1 and see what comes.
