Public bug reported: Started off with UNR on Karmic. Attempted to Upgrade using do-release- upgrade which failed (it hung at Calculating Package Size)...
After that failed a couple times, I tried "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" and that showed me 1100+ packages that were updated and needed to be installed. So I installed them that way. Turns out this updated my system to Lucid... So on the first reboot, UNR loads and Desktop-Launcher starts. Then I get a popup that says: The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitcherApplet". Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration. I elected to NOT delete the configuration for now... ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: lucid-upgrade-testing ** Package changed: ubuntu => nautilus (Ubuntu) ** Tags added: lucid-upgrade-testing -- [Lucid] Upgrad Netbook edition from Karmic to Lucid and error pops up on first boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/551388 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
