Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot
During test import from two different cameras, I tried creating and attaching tags to imported images. For my Kodak camera, I created the tag "Kodak pix" and chose to have that attached to images imported from that camera. For my Canon DSLR, I created the tag "Canon-RAW" and chose to have that one attached. After each import attempt, however, I discovered that while the tag was created, and the images were imported, the tags were not attached to the images. So searching for images tagged with "Kodak pix" did not return any results. I tried a third time, using the default F-Spot tag "People". After importing 75 images that were to be tagged with this. I was able to attach tags AFTERWARDS by selecting images and assigning tags, however, I am not able to tag them during import ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: f-spot 0.6.1.5-2ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-17.26-generic 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-17-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: wl Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Mar 29 14:32:22 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Beta i386 (20100315) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: f-spot ** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- [lucid] Tags not added to images during import in F-Spot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/551118 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
