The correct package for this bug is ubuntu-mono, as this is where the icons for the login screen actually reside at the moment. I have attached a suggestion for replacement icons which are the existing icons recoloured using the same dark grey colour from the Radiance theme icons. Note that if you decide to install these icons manually, you'll have to remove /usr/share/icons/LoginIcons/icon-theme.cache or you will continue to see white icons on the login screen.
