I seemed to have gained this today after upgrading this machine from Karmic to Lucid beta. Machine has Intel graphics and is a laptop (and answers to the name davros). I've included a screen shot. I'd say there are 3 distinct things happening:
1) The power icon keeps coming and going even though it's plugged into AC continuously - that could be an artifact of the way in which the power thing works? 2) We have those vertical stripes. 3) There is a growing gap between the two chunks of vertical lines which makes me think the notification area is growing for some reason. My other machine running Lucid isn't suffering from this.
