This issue persists after upgrading to Lucid (beta). After the upgrade, only policykit-1 packages are installed, so the upgrade looks OK. However after playing a bit with the packages, I also lost the 'suspend' button in the 'indicator-applet'.
I now see errors of the type: Mar 27 16:35:09 purple gnome-session[1404]: WARNING: Could not connect to ConsoleKit: Could not get owner of name 'org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit': no such name in /var/log/daemon.log It seems that the corresponding policies in /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.consolekit.policy have been renamed 'org.freedesktop.consolekit' (lowercase). Is that a problem? -- [Karmic] Shutdown/restart from gnome menu does not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501294 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
