OK, I tried that, still get an oops. I am not 100% sure that this actually took effect- where does that file get written to in the initramfs? At any rate when I am put into the initramfs busybox shell, I see none of them loaded in /proc/modules. I can from that shell do modprobe libata, and that gives a message that it succeeded.
