Public bug reported: Binary package hint: jokosher
It was after trying to record something. That first gave the text: Argh! Something went wrong and a serious error occurred: The stream is in the wrong format. gstbasesrc.c(1865): gst_base_src_start (): /timeline/playbackbin/clickbin/click: Check your filtered caps, if any After clicking OK... and closing Jokosher I got the crash. PS. recording also doesn't work in krecord, gnome-record, Ekiga and gstreamer-properties. probably some gstreamer-alsa connection problems... sound including microphone works fine under ALSA. No problems in edgy with sound recording, upgraded to feisty with the upgrade-manager without errors on gstreamer.
