Yep, it is activated. mmm ... so, does liferea use the browsers plugins to show the content? If it is the case, maybe it's relevant that I have 2 add-ons in firefox: FlashBlock & No-script. By default both of them avoid to firefox execute scripts and flash until I enable the site to do so.
