This happens at random intervals, with Firefox 3.6 in Lucid Lynx 64-bit on my System 76 Pangolin laptop. I will be filling in a form on a web page or in a search field such as Google and suddenly everything I type will erase all of the cell's contents. At that point, the only way to enter text again is to restart Firefox or compose the text in Gedit (notepad) and copy and paste the contents into Firefox.
I noticed that earlier in bug's log, someone asked whether the original filer of the bug was using a touchpad or a mouse.
