Hi,

Do you get the "cannot reset port" error?
Do you have your whole USB system down after the error? This means USB
devices like pen drives will not work.

If not, yours is probably a different issue. Also note that yours is a
different webcam. You may search if uvcvideo has any issue with this
webcam in particular. You should google for "05a9:2640 uvcvideo".
