Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
Lucid beta1, up to date as of March 21st.
I was playing a movie full screened in totem. I played it from the
beginning, occasionally skipping ahead to interesting parts. I was
probably playing the video for about a half hour.
The video froze completely and the system was totally unresponsive.
Could not switch to tty1, could not ctl-alt-del, nothing. Had to power
down the system. The sound from the video kept playing for about 20
seconds, then stopped. This has happened on two occasions, with two
different movies and it never happened in any other release (like, when
i wasn't using nouveau).
