npviewer is a netscape plugin viewer. It enables flash in 64 bit firefox. I think the messages concerning npviewer is due to the fact that it is enabled also in konqueror (and is started by any webpage using flash) - however it does not work in konqueror (needs a special patched version of konqueror).
I have evaluated the options and do not think the screensaver and lockup problem is related to npviewer. The problems were there long time before installing npviewer.
