I can see in the video that the system has frozen while using some type of application. Do you get a caps-lock light when tapping the Caps-lock key? Do you get a Num-lock light when tapping the Num-lock key? Can you use Ctrl+Alt+F2 to switch to a tty? (Alt+F7 will switch back to the GUI) I saw the grub menu come up. What happens if you hit enter on the first entry instead of going to the recovery mode entry? What happens if you leave the computer turned off for 10 seconds instead of turning it back on immediately after power off?
