ALSA, PulseAudio, OSS or whatever sound system Ubuntu 9.10 (64-bit) uses. I can't run Kega Fusion (a Sega emulator) properly with sound enabled - you have to close all other programs before you can even use sound in Kega Fusion. I can't run the NES emulator GFCE with sound, I can't run XVidCap or any other screencasting programs with sound recording enabled.
I can, however, run the GENS Sega emulator with the sound rate up to 44100 - if I try it at 48000 then GENS will just close immediately. **PLEASE** Linux experts - investigate why this is happening and release a fix that affected users can install via the update. Is it a bug in the Linux kernel that affects every Linux distribution or just Ubuntu? I'm still a Linux newbie. -- Sound problems. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/512612 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
