voici ce que je trouve avec "device manager"
sur un port USB device
                usb mass storage interface les "properties" suivantes 
                                        usb vendor-id  3705 (0e79)
                                        usb vendor    archos,inc
                                        usb product-id 4392(0x1128)

il me semble donc bien que cette machine est reconnue
restant à votre disposition pour répondre à d'autres questions
