Binary package hint: plymouth

After the update to the latest plymouth packages the boot appears to occur, but 
my laptop stuck at ubuntu logo screen.
Reboot (through Crtl+Alt+Del) works.
If I press the power button the computer do the shutdown process.
I waited about 10 minutes, but I can't reach the logon screen.

searching for plymouth on dmesg I found this
