I can't believe that this is such a big deal to get a few icons for consistency, this menu is ugly and has been ugly for the last year since it started invading my UI. The menu doesn't match up with the rest of the UI, and I would rather look at the old "Applications, Places, and System" menu with the shutdown options in it. Atleast with the old gnome shutdown metaphor, all my crucial UI items would be on the left side of the screen with the new "max, min, and close" window icons.
